I finished the Ramat Hanadiv spread today, drawing the second page from photos, as I had a few moments when I could sort of feel my hands.
I wish I knew what these palm trees were called. They looked amazing.

I love interesting plants, so I was super curious what it was you had seen. Helpfully the garden’s website has a map that has the names of their plants that you can click on and it brings up pictures and info. I think it might have been a Canary Islands Dragon Tree, Drago’s-blood Tree (Dracaena draco). Your painting was very helpful in identifying the area you were in, so I hope this is what you saw.

I found the exact spot using Google maps: https://www.google.ca/maps/@32.5546467,34.94528,3a,90y,226.69h,101.31t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1sAF1QipNby-aJfZwZXF5iJ_e1VdoB06dglaiNjSILuH4n!2e10!3e11!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipNby-aJfZwZXF5iJ_e1VdoB06dglaiNjSILuH4n%3Dw203-h100-k-no-pi0-ya338.1782-ro0-fo100!7i8704!8i4352 and it does indeed seem to be a Dragon Tree: https://www.gardenia.net/plant/dracaena-draco-dragon-tree
