Inktober 2023 Day 22

I was about to write a long post, but I decided that it’s not worth it. I’m too tired for this.

We had rockets at an expected time yesterday. One of my best friends had to run back from the playground with her kids, and her daughter had the beginnings of an asthma attack because of the run and the stress.

Here’s a sketch of a stupid dog with a ball.

You got up, you drew, you are safe. I hope things get better but know its likely they won’t get better quickly. “Courage, dear heart.” sometimes a mantra helps I picked a new one for every marathon. You have your own sort of marathon I can’t even imagine. Maybe a mantra helps you too and you don’t need to tell anyone what it is. Maybe Anne Bancrofts character in Point of No Return has a better one

…say something offhand. It doesn’t have to fit the situation, really. Say…. Say, “I never did mind about the little things.”

I hope you remain safe and well!

    Hugs.

My 11 year old had an asthma attack blended with an anxiety attack last week. Apparently deep breaths don’t work all that well during asthma attack. We got through it with nebulizers AND deep breaths.

And we’re in a relatively safe area and all.
