#Inktober 13: Guarded

Zebra disposable brush pen on a Field Notes Signature sketchbook. I only use one side of the page with these sketchbooks and you can see why. Even doing that doesn’t prevent the sketch on the following page from showing through.

Quick Doodle: Saved a Little Bird

Saw a little brown bird lying still on the road on my way to work. It was alive but appeared stunned. I gently picked it up and moved it to a large planter, away from the road and the cars. Came back later with some water for it but it had flown away.

Drawn on a Field Notes Signature sketch book, with a Zebra fine disposable brush pen.

#oneweek100people2018 Day 4

Back to Jaffa’s flea market this time, though I hadn’t much time to draw too many people. Every sketch here was done in two minutes or less, as the subject was moving.

#oneweek100people2018 Day 3

As I thought, yesterday was a busy day and so I had very little time to draw. Went to the Olamot Sci Fi and Fantasy convention and managed to get a few quick sketch in though.

#oneweek100people2018 Day 2

Today, day 2 of the one week 100 people challenge, I went out to Jaffa’s flea market and Ben Gurion Blvd to capture as many people as I could in as little time. I’m starting to get a bit more comfortable drawing these quick sketches, though I’m still not comfortable staring at people directly as I draw them, which makes life a bit difficult. I’m up to 48 people (though there are two sketches here that I don’t plan on counting if I can), which is good, though I have less sketching time tomorrow, so we’ll see how it goes.
