This is the Diamine Inkvent 2023 day 11 door:
Day 11’s ink is Diamine Glacier. It’s a “Star Bright” ink.
What is a “Star Bright” ink? If I had to venture a guess it’s shimmer ink with a lot of extra shimmering. A lot. A whole sack full of glitter was poured into this tiny bottle and the result is a little astounding.
You can see the intensity of the shimmer in this writing sample — if the Diamine Glacier didn’t shade as much as it does I couldn’t have told you from this sample whether it was a gel glitter pen or a super shimmering fountain pen ink.
The shading in Diamine Glacier works well with the choice of light blue shimmer. I love the muted base colour, and the “star bright” effect makes it special and festive.

This is a wonderful seasonal greeting card ink, and you might find it generally useful for other greeting cards and for journaling. As for me, I’m slightly dreading cleaning out the TWSBI GO fountain pen I used for this review.

It’s beautiful! I would definitely be interested in something like that, I’ve not seen these sorts of fountain pen inks before, I’ve only ever seen glittery ink in gel pens. But I suppose if they’re putting it in gel pens, it makes sense that it’s a bottle of ink in the first place.
I’m not sure what I’d use it for, probably for writing letters and notes. 😀

Definitely the most glittery ink I’ve ever seen. I love the color and there’s a lovely sheen on the text written with it. So pretty. However, like; you, I fear filling a pen with it. I will use it — with my stylus pens only

I found it wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared to get the pen cleaned after writing a long letter with this ink. I adored it and it’s way less high-maintenance than I expected!! Plus it’s SO amazingly, absurdly shimmering that I feel I can almost see my reflection in the letters. Love it!
