Hello

A blog about writing, sketching, running and other things

Set out early as we’re in the midst of a heat wave (yes, it’s November) and I didn’t fancy running in the sun.

So dark outside…
A few km in and I saw two herons resting on the water’s edge.

Then came the Egyptian geese:

And a mallard mom with her ducklings:

I love seeing the sun rise over the river:

And over a grumpy night heron:

More Egyptian geese on the way:

The starting line gate for upcoming Tel Aviv Night Run is already up:

A great 10k, my last one before the Night Run race.
It looks like another year without winter here. I drew this during an Urban Sketchers sketch crawl, but since the sun was right in my face and it was blazing hot (31 degrees centigrade), I didn’t place the shadows properly.

Last of the inktober challenge. Staedtler pigment liner, Faber Castell Pitt brush pens and a Uni Ball Signo needle 0.38 pink pen on a Field Notes Signature sketchbook.

In D&D blue dragons are electricity dragons, and this was what I could think of for this not so great prompt.

This was a super easy one. Staedtler pigment liner 0.3 on a Field Notes Signature sketchbook.

My cat hates thunder, so this was an easy one. Staedtler pigment liner 0.7 and Faber Castell Pitt brush pens on a Field Notes Signature sketchbook.

It’s municipal Election Day here, and the streets are jumping with people out and about (for the first time ever it’s a day off for everyone). Went for a 6k run that turned into a 6.5k and then went to vote.
